The kalimba, also known as a thumb piano, is a popular instrument throughout Africa. It is made from a calabash gourd and covered with a flat top with metal keys. To play, simlpy pluck the keys with your thumbs. These kalmiba are decorated with village scenes. Great fun for children and adults!
